Due to our clients continued success, we are recruiting for a leading Property/Housing Organisation located in the Cheshire area. We are looking to recruit a Surveyor who has good structural knowledge who can manage HHSRS. In terms of experience, we are ideally looking for candidates who have exposure in the Housing/Construction Industry or any other similar construction disciplines.

The role is based within the Cheshire East area, you will be expected to be local but flexible agile working is on offer.

JOB PURPOSE: To ensure the quality of housing stock meets required legislative standards through surveying, planning, management of consultants and contractors. Engaging with tenants to ensure the smooth delivery of required works in terms of time, cost and quality. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Work with the Senior Surveyor and Strategic Asset Manager to deliver the Trust’s strategic approach to Asset Management
• Health & Safety - Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety legislative codes
• To manage tenant permission requests, customer queries including complaint handling where required
• Management of specialist surveys including working with third party and partnering agencies
• Management and delivery of projects and programs, in line with the Trusts objectives. Undertaking contract management and administration where required including monitoring progress against program,  budget management
• To support with grant funding applications and ensure all funding requirements are complied with including the collation of grant funding payment applications.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in Housing/Construction Industry
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• UK driving licence
