A leading insurance company based in Wilmslow, dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our clients. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Third-Party Claims Handler with a focus on Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims to join our dynamic team.
As a Third-Party Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving claims involving road traffic accidents. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing claims, conducting investigations, negotiating settlements, and providing top-notch customer service to claimants and policyholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle a portfolio of third-party motor claims, RTA-related.
Conduct thorough investigations to establish liability and assess damages.
Communicate with claimants, policyholders, and other relevant parties in a professional and empathetic manner.
Negotiate settlements within established authority limits.
Ensure claims are processed efficiently and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Keep accurate and up-to-date claim records and documentation.
Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve departmental goals and targets.
Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Third-Party Claims Handler, with a strong focus on RTA claims.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance principles and RTA claims processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex information.
- Proficiency in relevant computer software and databases.
- Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Salary £23,000 to £27,000 plus an excellent benefits package!
