Join a growing and award-winning financial advice practice as a Trainee Financial Planner, supporting experienced Financial Planner in delivering exceptional client outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with experience in financial services who’s ready to take the next step toward becoming a qualified Financial Planner.
You’ll work closely with an experienced Adviser in a structured, supportive environment, gaining hands-on experience in holistic financial planning and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shadow and support a Senior Financial Adviser in day-to-day client activities.
- Assist with client meeting preparation, including gathering and analysing financial data.
- Contribute to research, product comparisons, and suitability report preparation.
- Attend client meetings, take clear notes, and manage follow-up actions.
- Help maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional service standards.
- Develop your understanding of the full financial planning process and regulatory environment.
- Support administrative and compliance tasks for the adviser and wider team.
- Work towards building your own advice proposition under structured guidance.
Requirements:
- Experience within a financial planning or wealth management environment.
- Ideally, passed the Diploma in Financial Planning or working towards.
- Strong understanding of advice processes, products, and client servicing standards.
- Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong administrative skills.
- Personable, confident, and professional in both client and internal communications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
- Motivated, ambitious, and keen to learn in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Qualifications:
- Ideally working towards (or already hold) the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS).
Full study support is provided to pursue the Diploma in Financial Planning paving the way to Chartered status.
