Transport Planner with Back Load Expertise

Key Responsibilities:

· Efficiently plan and optimise transport routes for maximum resource utilisation.

· Specialise in handling backloads to reduce empty miles and minimise environmental impact.

· Collaborate with our dedicated team to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.

· Continuously analyse data and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement.

· Maintain strong relationships with carriers and suppliers to secure advantageous backload arrangements.

· Arranging and negotiating with different haulers

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in transport planning, with a focus on backloads.

· Strong analytical skills and proficiency in transportation management software.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

· Passion for sustainability and reducing carbon footprint.

Monday – Friday 9-5

Salary £28,000
