Zellis Systems Administrator (Zellis ResourceLink & Compensate)
Looking for an experienced HR Systems professional with a strong background in Zellis ResourceLink and Compensate? We’re looking for a talented and proactive HR Systems Administrator to join a fast-growing industry on a fully remote basis.
In this key role, you’ll take ownership of configuring and optimising the HR and payroll systems to meet business needs, ensuring seamless integration with the wider IT infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has worked in a system development or consultancy role, with a passion for delivering robust, efficient, and secure HR technology solutions.
Must have Zellis experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure Zellis ResourceLink to meet HR and payroll requirements, including customising User Defined Fields, screens, workflows, and reports.
- Collaborate with the Systems Architect, IT, HR, Payroll, and Business Change teams to ensure effective integration with the wider IT landscape.
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and testing cycles.
- Provide training and support to HR, Payroll, Recruitment, and L&D teams, helping them maximise effective use of Zellis tools.
- Monitor and report on system performance, including error logs and optimisation opportunities.
- Configure, optimise, and maintain ResourceLink modules (HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Self-Service).
- Develop custom workflows, reports, and system interfaces within ResourceLink.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ResourceLink and Compensate.
- Maintain strong IT governance, including security, data integrity, and disaster recovery planning.
- Create and maintain clear system documentation, process maps, and troubleshooting guides.
- Ensure GDPR compliance and adherence to payroll legislation.
- Integrate ResourceLink with other enterprise systems (e.g. Solus bespoke workshop system, MS Fabric, Power Automate).
- Analyse risks and impacts associated with system changes, upgrades, or integrations.
The Ideal Candidate:
- We’re looking for someone with a deep technical understanding of Zellis ResourceLink and Compensate, who thrives in a collaborative environment and can communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Proven experience configuring HR systems in a development or consultancy role.
- Strong knowledge of Zellis ResourceLink and Compensate architecture (data storage, triggers, synchronisation).
- Experience with User Defined Fields, screens, and workflow configuration.
- Familiarity with Zellis reporting tools, including RRS, MyView Consoles, and Power BI.
- Understanding of system integrations, APIs, webhooks, SSO, and Azure connectors.
- Proficiency with the ZIP API suite and hybrid ResourceLink environments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and tailor communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Up-to-date knowledge of data protection regulations and payroll legislation.
Monday – Friday – 37.5 hours
Salary £45,000-£55,000
100% remote, home-based position.
